Ummm...What's the deal with "Minimalisim"?

It's no secret that their is a new craze surrounding the sub culture of minimalist. I know right, the name is a little hard to pronounce so we may all need help with understanding. It is funny to think that such a phenom is ironically happening in our time, "The Millennial and Minimalism" will make a cool tongue twister in history.
